Tyler

Welcome in! I’m Tyler, co-founder of Rent Source and current owner of Peak Realty Advisors. I cut my teeth in the apartment rental industry working as an agent and then owning my own rental brokerage. With over 10 years experience and thousands of apartments rented, I’m excited to pass along my first hand knowledge through this course. I’m confident it can help any landlord rent their apartments efficiently and will pay for itself over and over again!

Course FAQ

  • The course is $250 which can be paid in 5 installments of $50. This cost is minimal in comparison to a broker’s fee (typically one month’s rent) and can be used as a repeatable process in the future.

  • No — if you’re the property owner, you can legally advertise, show, and lease your own apartment without a real estate license. You do, however, need to follow all landlord-tenant laws, which we cover in detail in the course.

  • With a little upfront work — like prepping the apartment, listing it, and setting up your application process — most landlords find they spend a few hours per week during the listing period. The course shows you exactly how to streamline each step to make it manageable even with a busy schedule.

  • No problem. If you complete the course and choose to hire us, we’ll deduct the cost of the class from our broker fee — so you don’t lose a dollar.

  • No. The platforms we recommend — like Zillow, Craigslist, and Zillow’s free application tool — are affordable or free. The course also covers cost-effective options for tenant screening and listing exposure.

  • No — this course is based on industry experience and best practices, but it’s not legal advice. We always recommend consulting with a qualified attorney for specific legal questions or unique situations.
